Destin Seafood Festival

October 6 - 8
Location: Destin Harbor Boardwalk

The Destin Seafood Festival is on the Destin Harbor Boardwalk the first weekend in October, working in harmony with the kick-off of the Destin Fishing Rodeo. Activities taking place at the festival include fireworks, arts, crafts, fresh local food, kids' activities and live music. Approximately 70,000 locals and visitors are expected to attend this FREE festival.

Grand Boulevard Farmers' Market

Saturdays from 9 am - 1 pm (October 7, 14, 21, 28)
Location: Grand Boulevard

"I LOVE YOU, YOU'RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE" PERFORMANCE

Sunday, October 1 at 2PM
Location: Upstairs 560

A musical comedy with everything you ever secretly thought about dating, romance, marriage, lovers, husbands, wives and in-laws, but were afraid to admit. Run time is approximately 120 minutes, with one intermission. Appropriate for ages 13 and up due to some mature themes and mild language. Music by Jimmy Roberts, Lyrics & Book by Joe Dipietro.

GISELLE

Saturday, October 14 at 7PM
Location: Grand Park

The Northwest Florida Ballet takes the stage at Grand Park in Grand Boulevard to perform Giselle, one of the oldest continually performed ballets dating back to Paris in 1841. Giselle is a free, outdoor performance. Some seating will be provided but we suggest bringing your own chair or blanket.

First Friday Art Walk

On the first Friday of every month, participating South Walton art galleries stay open late to display their art. This is the community's opportunity to see new artwork, meet the artists, and enjoy both refreshments and live music.

30A Half Marathon & 5K

October 13-15, 2017
Location: Gulf Place

The second-annual 30A Half Marathon & 5K will kick off with a bang starting on Friday, October 13, 2017. This scenic out-and-back course will travel from start and end at beautiful Gulf Place on Scenic Highway 30A. All proceeds from this event will benefit The Sonder Project and their mission to end extreme poverty and hunger worldwide.

Pumpkin Festival

Oct. 21-22 and Oct. 28-29 from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm
Location: Arnett's Gulfside Stables

Come out to Arnett's Pumpkin Festival and pick out your pumpkins. Have a great time with pumpkin painting activities, bouncy house and pony rides. Take a hay ride through the haunted trails of Point Washington State Forest. And get some yummy cotton candy, popcorn, hot dogs and drinks! Free admission.

Live Music at La Playa

30A YOLO & Beach Bike Ride

Saturdays at 8:30 am (October 7, 14, 21, 28)
Location: Gulf Place

FREE group bike rides kick-off every Saturday at 8:30 a.m. from YOLO Board + Bike in Gulf Place. Riders can grab a cup of coffee from Sunrise Coffee Co. and browse The 30A Store before heading out with the group onto the Longleaf Pine Trails, and then you can enjoy an ice cool beer when you get back. The 30A YOLO Bike and Beach Club is free to join, and it's open to all skill levels.

Third Thursday Wine Walkabout

Market Shops Bloody Mary Festival

Duck Regatta

Join us for the 7th Annual Emerald Coast Duck Regatta on Saturday, October 7th, 2017 and adopt a duck for your chance to win, first place receives $5,000. This family-friendly event includes a scavenger hunt, face painting, kids activities, free carousel rides, and the duck race following at 1pm.

10th Annual Baytowne Beer Festival

Time to roll out the barrel and discover unique suds & ales! The Village of Baytowne Wharf at Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort presents the 10th Annual Baytowne Wharf Beer Fest on October 13th & 14th. American speciality brews from around the nation will be available to sample and savor. The event will feature over 200 domestic and international craft beers available at the event, offering an opportunity to learn about the different types of lagers and ales from a variety of styles. Live music will be also featured during the festival.

Trick or Treat Street

Calling all ghouls, ghosts, and goblins to the Village of Baytowne Wharf for a spooktacular extravaganza! This Halloween, Trick or Treat through the Village streets and visit merchants for your favorite treat. The DJ will play frightenly good tunes on the main stage, enjoy face painting, balloon animals, and a fly-board show by Ben Merrell! End the night with a spooky fireworks display at 8pm.

First Friday ArtWalk at Shops of Ruskin

First Friday ArtWalk is the first Friday of each month from 4-7pm. Shop, have a glass of wine, and enjoy Friday evening in Seaside, Florida. Ruskin Place is tucked away behind Central Square. The park is surrounded by beautiful trees and unique shops.

Seaside Farmers Market

Seaside Farmers Market takes place in the Seaside Amphitheater every Saturday rain or shine! Fall and winter hours are Saturdays from 9-1. Live music takes place in the middle of it all and everyone enjoys strolling Central Square in the morning hours with a coffee or mimosa. Airstream Row is just next to the market as well as many shops, restaurants and places to sit and watch the town go by.

Halloweener Derby Day

Location: Seaside Amphitheater

It's a fundraiser to benefit 30A Radio, and this dachshund-only race is followed by a pet costume contest, and then a free outdoor concert with Brian James and Matt Miller. All events take place in the Seaside Amphitheater. Check-in and same-day registration begins at 9:30 AM.
